A one-day trip from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, an ancient capital of Thailand and a world heritage city, will make your day full of enjoyment. The highlights of the travel are (1) Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, the grandeur of luxury and mixed architectures, (2) Wat Phrasrisanphet, one of the most important temples, and (3) Wat Chai Wattanaram, the most beautiful temple in Ayutthaya. Taken by Grand Pearl Cruise along the Chao Phraya River, you will enjoy the sights of the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew (the Emerald Buddha Temple), Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), and so forth.

07.15 Ground transportation from the River City Shopping Complex Pier by a luxury air–conditioned coach to Ayutthaya (accompanied with an English speaking tour guide).

Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, the Summer Palace of King Rama V with its mixture of Thai, Chinese, and Gothic architecture.


 -Wat Mahatad, the royal monastery, the residence of Thai supreme monks. 
 -Wat Phrasrisanphet, the place of the largest and one of the most important temples that was used as a Thai royal palace. 
 -Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit, the place of the large bronze Buddha image that was originally enshrined in the open area outside the grand palace and later covered by a building called Wihan.


-Welcome aboard by the Grand Pearl Cruise Liner at Wat Chong-lom Pier,Nonthaburi Province.-Sumptuous buffet lunch, a choice of a variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served while enjoying and relaxing the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings. The cruiser will then head towards Koh Kred, the Monn ethnic community in Nonthaburi Province.


Sightseeing along the river banks include the colorful Royal Barges House, Thammasart University, Siriraj Hospital, The Royal Grand Palace and the graceful Temple of Dawn, with its magnificent 79 meters spire, Wat Kallayanamitr, one of the most renowned temples (refreshment served).

1. The Excursion on October 11, 2014 is optional. The excursion fee is US$100.00 (TH฿3,000)/person. 

2. The excursion fee (for those who are interested in) must be paid at the conference. An official receipt for the excursion will be given at the conference venue.

3. For those who are interested in the excursion must fill in ICADA 2014 Excursion/Trip Application & Liability Release Form and bring it to the venue when paying the fee. 

4. The exchange rate for this conference is TH฿30.00/US$. 

5. No refunds can be made.
